This is one of the few, rare times a studio closure has had an emotional impact on me. I grew up playing Bioware games. Put more hours than I can remember into Baldur's Gate, Neverwinter Nights, KOTOR, Dragon Age, Mass Effect...basically shaped my gaming years.
Just feel kind of empty inside. RIP Bioware 💔
Imagine skipping out on a game because you listen to a opinion of someone who didn’t even play the game 💀
Hideo Kojima says people who have never played Death Stranding but call it "a walking simulator" are proof that social media can form hivemind narratives.
He finds it "scary" that AI may one day shield people from being exposed to differing opinions.

It's clear that the next xbox and PS6 will be around $1000 or even way beyond that. Therefore, crossgen will probably be a thing for a LONG time to come
And NO ONE should honestly be mad this. Be mad at AI, people will simply not be able to afford the latest hardware anymore
'the price of the [Xbox] Helix console has internally been projected to cost consumers between $1,200 and $1,800, unless Microsoft decides to subsidize the cost'
-Game Pass planning major overhaul (a la carte)

Looks like Sony may have acquired the Kena IP and possibly Ember Lab 😳:
- Recent PlayStation x Lisa promo trailer shows copyright for Kena: Scars of - Kosmora as a trademark of Sony Interactive Entertainment 😱
- Earlier announcement trailer and materials listed it under Ember Lab!
- Sequel delayed to 2027 for more polish
Imagine if Sony has really done this
I beat Gears of war E-day! From someone who usually prefers PlayStation:
- Amazing action through the whole game
- Good story, very good prequel to show what started it all. But not much focus on characters imo
- I like the variety in weapons
- Graphics wise it looks very good
- PC specific issues where the game has to be restarted or it crashes every hour
- I like the semi open world section, not too big and makes it fun to explore a bit without overdoing it
- Great audio design and satisfaction when using the guns
- Some achievements are broken 😢
Overall a very good game! I really hope we get more gears of war games in this level (outside of the bugs etc)
I think the fanboy war over Zelda and GTA is ridiculous, it's 2 compactly different games.
I also think it's not even fair to compare them since GTA V sold more than the entire Zelda Franchise... 😅
I don't think any game is fair to compare to GTA? Just enjoy and play games
I'm confused on why Nintendo fans are trying so hard to pit the Ocarina of Time Remake against GTA 6 as if these releases are comparable in any way.
One is an extremely faithful remake of a 1998 game, So the dungeons, story beats, mechanics and puzzles are all faithful and a byproduct of their time. Even the original loading screens are kept in. It's very much a 1998 game, brought to modern audiences. I am 100% sure its going to be fantastic, but its not a new game.
GTA 6 is a whole new game, building upon a nearly 30 year long legacy with 8 years of development behind it, following up directly on the highest rated game of the eighth generation being Red Dead 2.
If this was a new Legend of Zelda game, I'd get the comparison. But at this point, it genuinely feels like insecurity and Nintendo's fanbase is starting to come across as one of the most elitist, insufferable fanbases on here for how insecure they are over the fact that the remake won't be as big as GTA 6.
It's also just crazy that so many people are trying to portray GTA 6 as a "ball and gun" game when this franchise has consistently been revolutionary for the open world genre since its inception, with each entry doing something huge to impact the industry at its core.
Control Resonant is a game where it legit tells you nothing how to solve anything, if you fail Dylan doesn't go "Geeeez I should probably do this"
Instead, you have to think smarter and fail more. In order to have success. I appreciate that in todays TikTok brain rot world
