On Monday, 29 @D17Teachers will find out their VOLUNTARY transfer was approved. Glad to have led the team in ‘16 that re-organized the staffing process to ensure VOLUNTARY transfers occur prior to surplus process. Result: More VOLUNTARY transfers, fewer teachers SURPLUS.

While front line personnel have had legislation imposing wage restraint that has led to only a 9% raise over the past 12 years it’s amazing how many Directors of Education have received increases over 30%!
