Agreed on the app optimisation part for social media apps. But that doesn’t change the fact that many government and banking apps could take months to adapt, if they ever do. Making the iPhone Duo your only phone is a risky bet.

The iPhone Duo reviews are some of the most brutal I've seen from an Apple product in a long time (Vision Pro aside). But I've been around long enough to remember the iPhone 5, iPhone 6 Plus and iPhone X. The app optimization issue is a non-issue and will be resolved in weeks.
