Disabled women deserve better—full stop.
Today marks how far into the year that disabled women must work in order to be paid the same amount that nondisabled men were paid the previous year. This ableist, sexist and racist wage gap is only made worse for disabled women of color.

We are heartbroken to hear about the passing of Krystal Anderson after experiencing a stillbirth. Black women need to be cared for with greater urgency. The Black maternal health crisis must be approached with MORE URGENCY!!!

Today marks 51 years since Roe v. Wade established the right to abortion—and lawmakers have been attacking our access ever since. Today, illegal or restricted in 33 states, including right here in Texas.
Roe was never enough. 🧵

LET'S BE CLEAR - the Supreme Court case is not about if abortion using pills is safe and effective. DECADES of research affirms that ending a pregnancy using mifepristone works and is a great way to expand access and allow people to self manage and that is why it is under attack!

This week alone, SCOTUS gutted affirmative action, denied student debt relief, and allowed businesses to discriminate. And we’re still living with the consequences of last year’s Dobbs decision that destroyed our right to abortion—a direct attack on our bodily autonomy.
Ms. Foundation for Women retweeted
Today, SCOTUS struck down affirmative action, overturning nearly 50 years of precedent (sound familiar?). Affirmative action provided a pathway toward progress for many from marginalized communities, & we know that young Black & brown folks will be most harmed by this decision.
