Thinking more about Facebook and Instagram I assume the ad load on teenagers will double or triple to make up for the limited time spent

@Jason was listening to This Week in Startups when you talked about your newsletter idea using AI to curate the content. And then, having the writers look for comments to make the Contant even better. Question, what software/platform are you using to build the LLM thank you. 😀

What if Google decides to forgo advertising revenue, and turns it into a subscription. Also, what if Google decides to charge publishers for links to the website. I think there’s lots of potential changes we can see happen.

@mp_joemandese More broadly, we are expanding our opportunity in advertising. Over the past 12 months, our total advertising revenue, inclusive of LinkedIn, surpassed $10 billion ex TAC.

This is actually quite reassuring to me for now. It will take time to amass the data to answer more definitively the question about risks of omicron. But when healthcare providers give their impressions of what it's feeling like on the ground, we should listen.

You’ll hear similar optimism from many South African experts. “It’s early days, but I’m less panicked,” said Richard Friedland, who runs the country’s largest network of private health care providers. “It feels different to me on the ground.” bloomberg.com/news/articles/…

Irresponsible data point unless we know way more about the 50K who are currently hospitalized. How many have been double vaccinated and or boosted, age, pre-existing conditions, etc

Couldn't agree more! 👏@j_g_allen "We think much of the confusion & disagreement among scientists and nonexperts alike comes down to undefined and sometimes conflicting goals in responding to the pandemic. What are we actually trying to achieve in the US?" nytimes.com/2021/08/30/opini…
