Went to @cineworld to see the tweaks to endgame. Mentioned the screwing of unlimited punters making app bookings for a group to the ticket guy. His response: you’re not the first to mention. I asked how many: β€œoh, a couple of hundred this shift” He said he’d pass it on…

Wah, poor big corporation who chose to do this and now people won’t just accept it? Wah? Is that your argument? Get a grip.

The person who got the response took it in good grace - good on them. Meanwhile the person with the original (reasonable) complaint did a β€œfuck off” and a block. Weird. Honestly, I’m only looking at twitter because of cineworld screwing unlimited folk. So I care not.

Short of true disasters like Exxon, I don’t think I have ever witnessed a PR blunder bigger than the @cineworld β€œcannot book for friends” fiasco. And that they’re opting for a β€œheads in the sand” response rather than addressing it… Well, it’s amateur hour. What’s going on there
50
And @cineworld totally has blinkers on, not responding to the thousands of complaints about not being able to book with friends and family - whilst being responsive to β€œlooking forward to the new Tom Cruise”. If you want to keep the income stream of unlimited - do better

Note to self: odeon.co.uk/limitless/sign-u… is about the same time to get to for me as cineworld

This …. This right here…. Is the biggest pile of rubbish @cineworld and does not recognise how people actually manage their affairs - i cannot book tickets for me and my wife in one go? help.cineworld.co.uk/support… Friends? There is a (tenuous) argument, but Family? Get a grip.

The new @cineworld app is awful. I used to be able to book for both me and my wife with unlimited in one go. Now? No. Its also flakey on ipad. Its retrograde. It should never have been signed off - needs an urgent fix

Sort it, fast. For me, I have just as easy access to Reels, Ambassadors, Vue and Odeon. They don’t have broken apps - and also have membership schemes.

…. And looking at @cineworld mentions, I am not alone in thinking this new app is a retrograde move. Someone has seriously screwed a pooch.

Ffs, @CostaCoffee - it is September. Why on Earth are Christmas songs playing in Farnborough? Even November is pushing your luck. And the barista had β€œsorry, nothing to do with me”as a response. Maddening.

Big yuck for @cineworld - i bit their bluesky account dormant but they are still active on this dumpster fire of a platform

Replying to @Life360
@Life360 reassure me that this is flawed and you do not have userdata exposed like this: bsky.app/profile/adafruit.co… (Also, your bsky account is dead yet you are still on twitter)

Actually doesn’t matter really, I have had my foot out the door for a while, tired of being told a battery is exhausted weeks after last report (despite visiting location of last report). Time for a new tracker ecosystem. My keys lost their battery a week ago? Thanks for that.

Not wrong, @kelloggshelp_uk would fix a typo in language, they should fix maths errors. @KelloggsUS youtu.be/CYjD9cpxT18?si=2W6I…

So @cineworld still here with Bsky silent? Bit of a pain. Esp when I can’t book β€œDuel” on the app in Aldershot (it is shown on app) and I don’t want to launch twitter

Ooh, the wonderful @zoelyons at Guilfest tod… damn, clashes with my choir stagetime. Boo! Still, we’ll all be done for Leo Sayer and The Jacksons!

So frustrated with @tileapp and batteries dying silently. If i have been at the last location of a device, and it did not connect, let me know. No good telling me β€œLast seen 15 days ago at the supermarket” Yes, you tell me in the end, but it needs to be smarter

My @Victorinox of choice is huntsman, that featureset but with the addition of pliers (and Phillips) would be perfect for me. Can see the need for a flat blade, hard steel whittling blade too
29
I see @Victorinox is thinking of knifeless range. I want to see one for electronics hobbyist. Pliers, wiresnips, wire strip, small screwdriver for preset pots, ideally tweezers. …. And other useful things (maybe a bigger screwdriver/bottle opener)
