Attention Trainers and Cookie Runners alike! = With less than two weeks before contributor apps close, we'd like to introduce the zine's two mascots: Trainer Gnomey and Sprinkles the Strawberreon! And like with any new pokemon game duo, its decision time...Which team are you??

Every time an AO3-scraped site pops up and everyone starts issuing DMCAs or using the site’s forms to take their work down, I just rip my hair out. Do not ever do this. It is almost ALWAYS an attempt to prey on your emotions to get your email or other data. Report to OTW and let them handle it. OTW is on the case now, as it happens. Just breathe.

I don’t care if a fan is sharing my writing with another fan to read on their own devices. That’s flattering, actually. I do care if someone is reuploading my work on a website I have no control over to gain money or clout

please DO NOT give these people the e-mail associated with your ao3 accounts. since this is monetized and directly referencing them, it’s more likely that ao3 and their legal team themselves can work on a takedown request, or at least provide instructions on how to do it safely. DO NOT DOXX YOURSELF TO AN AI SLOP SITE.

In light of recent ao3 related events, I have stumbled upon a website that I think authors need to be made aware of.  The website ao3 [DOT] life has been scraping and downloading fics published to ao3 for who knows how long. 🧵
