I didn’t choose to lose my sight. But I did choose what to do with the life that came after. Today is #WorldSightDay, and this year’s theme is “Love Your Eyes.”
I was born with full sight. Glaucoma slowly changed that, and learning to navigate a world I could no longer fully see came with its own challenges.
But it also taught me that sometimes, the real disability is the world around us, when our spaces, systems and services are not designed to include everyone.
The Persons with Disabilities Act, 2025 recognises the right to accessibility, reasonable accommodation and assistive support.
So, please take care of your eyes. Get them checked. And while you’re at it, let’s also learn to see inclusion differently. #VIP

Talking of PPD, that thing is bad. I resented my son for almost a month. I'd see him cry and feel nothing. One night he cried so much that my shosh thought I'd died in my sleep yet I was there watching at him sitted at the corner of the bed unbothered. The whole time I was
