20 years ago, we came up with a unique concept.
As a preparation / send-off for the 2004 USA Basketball Women's National Team, we staged an All-Star game between the "Best of the USA" and the "Best of the Rest" in the WNBA (Women's National Basketball Association) at Radio City.
Some shots I took and found from that night, where I was one of only a few people to watch the game from the stage, with a reverse view of the action:
The @Rockettes, @S10Bird & @DianaTaurasi, @LisaLeslie... all legends.
I even found myself in a pano shot (pre-legend status).
The tradition has continued during Olympic years ever since.
Now, the game is being played on a much larger stage than it was back then.
With a new media rights deal that just tripled for the @WNBA , the past is present... and the future has finally arrived.
