Ronaldo is becoming a disgrace of a legend. Messi first retired from the national team in 2016 at just 29, before everyone begged him to return. Ten years later, he announced his second and final retirement at 39 after Argentina lost the 2026 World Cup final to Spain. Meanwhile, here is Ronaldo at 41, still wanting to play every game, becoming a real nuisance and ruining his legacy with his own hands.

You should know when it’s time to walk away, and the best time is when the ovation is still at its loudest. Ronaldo doesn’t seem to understand that. At 41, he has no business still demanding to start every game for the national team. At this point, he’s ruining his legacy with his own hands.

CAF’s handling of African football is embarrassing. How was this pitch approved for an international match? The surface is uneven, the ball doesn’t bounce properly and players could easily get injured. Honestly, I can see why some foreign clubs are reluctant to release their players for international duty or even ask them to fake an injury to miss a game.
