Israel told a million Palestinian civilians to seek refuge in Rafah, the designated ‘safe place’. Israel is now intensely bombing Rafah through air, land and sea, in the middle of the night. This is a genocide.

My friend in Gaza who is only able to talk to me with an Israeli SIM card from a border area made the critical observation that with all comms cut, Palestinians who are bombed can’t call for help and will die in darkness
