Watch him say the words. This Governor thinks he can rewrite state election law to punish an entire school board in a county where he doesn’t even live.
For such a tall guy he’s a very small man.

This morning, Virginia Gov. Glenn Youngkin told @7NewsDC why he amended a bill in an effort to put all Loudoun County school board members on the ballot this November.

He hasn't moved that fast since January 6th.
I tried to ask @GOPLeader about the RNC’s resolution describing Jan. 6 as “legitimate political discourse”
He told me to make an appointment with his office… insisting it’s “not good” to answer questions in hallways.

Last year, I found my Dad’s poll tax receipt among his papers. He kept it as a reminder of the barriers our family faced in voting.
58 years ago yesterday, the 24th Amendment outlawing poll taxes was ratified.

In his first 24 hours Governor Glenn Youngkin has ended:
- K-12 mask mandate in VA schools (what happened to being pro-children?)
- VA Green House Gas Initiative (something he can’t do)
- CRT in public education (which he couldn’t define)
Anti science and fear-mongering. Shame

For eight years Mark Herring fought tirelessly for our Commonwealth. Virginia is a better place because of the work he and his team have done during that time. You're the best Attorney General we've ever had @MarkHerringVA, and we're going to miss you. All my best, and thank you!

Anyone pitching these devastating cuts has two questions to answer:
1) Which of our problems do you plan to ignore?
2) Which do you want to make worse?

Youngkin’s proposed tax cuts would slash Virginia state/local revenue by almost $3 billion annually, according to @TCIFiscal
numbers quoted in @MegSchiffres’ piece, resulting in major cut to services unless the money is offset elsewhere.

Withdrawing from the Regional Greenhouse Gas Initiative would mean Glenn Youngkin’s first steps as Governor of Virginia are steps backwards. He has time to take a closer look at this and reconsider, and that is what he should do.

Big news coming out of Richmond today! @GovernorVA's final budget will include proposing 5% raises for teachers over EACH of the next two years (10% raise in total). This increase would the average Virginia teacher salary above the national average.
