Australians are not enrolling in PhDs. Enrolments are at lowest this millennia, below 5,000 FTE. Big declines at Go8s. Meanwhile we wait for a Strategic R&D Review & National Research Workforce Development Strategy. They will find the low PhD stipend a barrier. Again. #phdchat
