The people making fun of Caleb Williams on the internet would have a physical and emotional meltdown if their DoorDash order was 15 minutes late. He's a lot tougher than you bozos. My column:

Once again, we will giving away free hot dogs if any bears offensive lineman scores a TD this year, or if Dennis Allen does the Macarena
Can’t wait to see Bears RT @darnellwright show off his moves & great hands catching a TD pass this season!
See quote below from today’s article on Ben Johnson from The Athletic
“After the walkthrough, Johnson detours to congratulate offensive tackle Darnell Wright on his just-signed four-year, $116 million contract extension. Johnson bro-hugs him and says, ‘You earned it.’ Wright wants more and asks his coach when Johnson will deliver on his promise of getting Wright a touchdown. It’s coming, Johnson says.”
They should tax every candidate who uses fair elections. That money goes towards a refund program where you get like 25 cents for each street sign, door hanger, or other campaign related detritus you return to a drop site.
DeMar shot around 36% from midrange in his first few seasons, and still had a heavy diet of mid shot. He was allowed to develop that shot ALONG WITH rim and 3pt. I agree that rim and 3 should take priority but having a midrange game is not a bad thing

Replying to @WholeLottaBull
Yes, people who actually played the game can agree that the mid-range isn’t a good shot for someone who consistently shoots the mid-range at 43%. For DeMar, it’s fine. You want your players shooting with efficiency.

Every District resident should know that @DoorDash doesn't support DC Home Rule and is actively working to undermine it by lobbying for the GOP’s efforts to control DC tax policies.
Govern yourselves accordingly, neighbors.
Interesting: @DoorDash is supporting the GOP bill in Congress to limit D.C.'s ability to increase or decrease taxes and fees, largely in response to the D.C. Council's recent vote in impose a new 20-cent delivery fee to help fund food-access programs. notus.org/metro/ubereats-doo…

Mandate!
Janeese Lewis George didn’t just win last week’s election. She won big.
@alyssafowers and I dove into the data. One of my favorite stats: voter turnout (% of registered Dems who voted) was the highest in a D.C. mayoral primary since 2010!

JLG has officially broken the record for most votes ever received in a DC Democratic mayoral primary election since Home Rule!
74,878 votes as of today:
Janeese is shooting up the leader board! New votes puts her above Marion Barry ‘94. She is nipping at Gray’s record for most votes in a D primary since home rule!
1 Gray (‘10) 72,648
2 @Janeese4DC 70,923 ⬆️
3 Barry (‘94) 66,777
4 Williams (‘02) 62,714
5 Bowser (‘22) 62,391
At the end of the day we’re having a Mount Rushmore of DC electoral victories conversation and JLG is in Jordan/Kobe/Lebron/Wilt convo. Pretty damn impressive, and votes are still coming in!
Let's express this number as votes as share of population rather than total votes (cc: @ScottGoldstein)
Barry (‘94) 66,777/565K = 12%
Williams (02) 62,714/573K = 11%
Gray (10) 72,648/605K = 12%
Bowser (14) 96,666/664K = 15%
Bowser (22) 62,391/675K = 9%
JLG (26) 70,923/694K = 10%

Thank you, Ward 1.
From the beginning, this campaign has been about building something bigger - to not just improve people's lives, but to give working people more power in a system so stacked against us.
It's an honor to be your Democratic nominee for Councilmember.
Since this most recent drop of votes, @Janeese4DC has officially surpassed Mayor Bowser’s vote total for ANY of her primary races (2022, 2018, 2014). As of now, this is the highest total turnout (raw votes) of any mayoral primary since 2010.
Nobody is questioning the quality of DC’s educators. DC has made improvements over time, but it’s difficult to attribute those gains solely to IMPACT. During the same period, DC also strengthened teacher preparation expectations, licensure requirements, and educator development.
Janeese has been electorally popular since she ran in 2020, she has been ideologically consistent and showed up to constituents on issues that most CMs wouldn’t. Definitely not a blip, she’s a known quantity. IMO (high info) dem voters knew who and what they were voting for.

The Green Team's days are over, most everyone can agree on that. But was Lewis George's win "an anti-Trump, anti-status quo blip" or is it something more?
The D.C. left will have its chance in the driver's seat. What can it accomplish?
