It’s Friday morning of Valentine’s weekend. I’m sleeping soundly at 6:30 with another thirty minutes to go before my alarm goes off.

Getting ready for an interview and cried in the shower. Not a strong start. Truthfully, I’m still very emotionally raw from my last experience and I’m not sure I’ll be able to sell myself as a good candidate today. We’ll see!
I am currently in the midst of: building my professional online presence, doing social media for a shop, managing my own vendor booth in said shop, helping my husband get his business off the ground, possibly publishing a coloring book, and also learning Dutch.
I feel like Thundergong maybe gave us an idea that this was a big Mae season but they still broke me.
Phew. So glad I didn’t watch Ted Lasso last night. Don’t think I could have handled that on my dad’s birthday.
So I got fired today… four weeks to the day after getting a huge raise…forty-eight hours after the charity golf tournament I helped plan for a year and was told I was invaluable and an incredible asset to the team. I want it to make sense but it won’t.
Last week I ceremonially cracked open a cold beer exactly at the kickoff of the Bears game. They scored the most points in a season opener in NFL history. So obviously, I know what I have to do… that said, 9 of the 18 games start at noon this season…
Went to see Practical Magic 2. It started out and the Warner Bros promo played I thought “hmm, any Ted Lasso surprises” and then BAM there’s Barb. Called that one.
I accept that I’m not wildly talented. But I do think I have a stronghold on impersonating June Carter AND reciting Super Mario Twins from EBaum’s world - not at the same time…that I’ve attempted…
So Jason Sudeikis is less than an hour from me right now and I’m just supposed to sit at work like it’s normal?!
