🚨 ROSTER ADDITION! 🚨 Welcome to the Crusaders, @ZellaRiley77 ! 🔴⚔️ Zella is a RHP/UTIL who brings a big bat and plenty of upside. A homeschool athlete taking classes through Liberty University Online Academy, Zella has been flying under the radar — but not for long. Over the last few seasons against top competition, she’s posted a .348 batting average while holding opposing hitters to just a .267 batting average against in the circle. 💪🔥 We’re STOKED to have her joining the Crusaders 16U Select Showcase. Welcome to the family, Zella! ❤️⚔️ #Crusaders16U #CrusadersSoftball #ClassOf2028 #SoftballRecruiting @ExtraInningSB @PrepSoftball

We’re incredibly proud of the work these girls have put in, and today was a great reminder that the work is starting to pay off. But whether it was 6 schools reaching out or 0, each athlete's focus stays the same: keep grinding, keep improving, and keep doing the things that got us here. Everyone’s recruiting journey looks different. We have faith in God’s plan and trust that He’ll lead each of our girls exactly where they’re supposed to be. Proud of our girls. Excited for what’s ahead. Faith. Family. Ferocity. Crusaders. ❤️🖤 @extrainningsoftball @prepsoftball_ #CrusadersSoftball #ClassOf2028 #CollegeSoftball #SoftballRecruiting #RecruitingJourney #HardWorkPaysOff

Our queens 👸🏼 @cassabear11 and Claire Ames had great camps over at @GuilfordSB this weekend! Proud of these ladies, the interest they've generated for themselves, and where they're heading! #crusaderssoftball #nccrusaders #softball

Excited to welcome Logan Morris to the Crusaders 16U Select Showcase coaching staff! A former NC State standout, All-ACC selection, and .300+ career hitter, Logan brings Power 5 experience, championship-level competitiveness, and a genuine passion for developing the next generation of softball players. Our players are going to learn from someone who has been there, competed there, and knows what it takes to get there. Welcome to the family, Logan. We’re fired up to have you! 🥎 #NCCrusaders #CrusadersSoftball #16USelect #Softball #TravelSoftball #ClubSoftball #SoftballRecruiting #CollegeSoftball #NCSoftball #NCStateSoftball #PlayerDevelopment #Power5 #Fastpitch #FaithFamilySoftball

Welcome to the Crusaders, @Peyton_Sheets78 ! 🔥 Peyton joins us from Fayetteville and Gray’s Creek High School, bringing a 4.125 GPA, a big arm, and the kind of athleticism that can change a game. We’re lucky to have her and can’t wait to see what she does in a Crusaders uniform! Welcome to the family, Peyton! 🔴⚔️ #Crusaders16U #CrusadersSoftball #ClassOf2029 #SoftballRecruiting

🚨 WELCOME TO THE CRUSADERS, GEORGEANNA BAREFOOT! 🚨 We’re thrilled to announce that Georgeanna Barefoot is joining Crusaders Softball as a 16U Select Showcase Coach! 🔥 Georgeanna brings an incredible level of experience to our program as a Division I pitcher, having competed at Campbell University and Charlotte. She was an All-Big South First Team selection and the 2024 AAC Pitcher of the Year. But what makes this especially exciting for our athletes is what she brings beyond the field — experience competing at the highest level, a deep understanding of the recruiting process, and relationships with college coaches throughout the Southeast. For our pitchers, this is a BIG deal. 🎯 You’ll have the opportunity to learn from someone who has been there, competed there, and understands what it takes to get there. Elite experience. Elite development. Elite opportunities. Welcome to the family, Georgeanna! ⚔️ #CrusadersSoftball #Crusaders #16USoftball #SoftballRecruiting #CollegeSoftball #D1Softball #SoftballPitcher #SoftballDevelopment #Fastpitch #SoftballLife #Recruiting #NCCrusaders

21 college programs. 5 kids with direct camp/campus invites.  One incredible weekend. A whole lot of opportunity. Coaches representing Harvard, Yale, Holy Cross, NYU, Stonehill, Marist, Amherst, Carnegie Mellon, Middlebury and many more were in attendance to watch OUR TEAM compete last weekend. Even better, five of our athletes received invitations to attend college camps and visit campuses as a direct result of the weekend. This is what showcase softball is all about: competing against great teams, performing under pressure and creating real opportunities for our players. We are not just building a team to play tournaments. We are building a program that works relentlessly to create opportunities for our players. Our schedule is intentional. We compete in top national showcase tournaments where major college programs recruit, while also making a point to attend events like the New England’s Finest Showcase, which attracts Ivy League programs and many of the nation’s top academic institutions. Want to play at a school like Harvard, Amherst or MIT? We’ll work our butts off to help you get there. We do not believe anyone will work harder on behalf of their athletes than we will. Recruiting is personal to us. We help our players identify the right schools, connect with coaches, promote themselves, build relationships and navigate the entire recruiting process. Our girls are never left to figure it out alone. We are not simply trying to find our players the best softball opportunity. We want to help them use softball to pursue the best education, experience and future possible. Exposure matters. Relationships matter. Education matters. And having coaches who will fight for your daughter matters. 🥎 16U NC Crusaders Showcase Tryouts 📍 Millbrook Exchange Park — Raleigh, NC 📅 August 9 & 16 Complete the prospect form using the QR code or text Coach Watson at 919-672-8887 nccrusaders.com/softball-pro…
