Y'all must read this brilliant writing by @tinudiver where she reflects on Black history, HBCUs and the important work Black women are doing in beer. (via @goodbeerhunting)

The word hero does not appropriately describe officer Eugene Goodman. His judgment & heroism may have saved our Republic. I hope @SpeakerPelosi @SenSchumer @WhipClyburn consider him for the Congressional Medal of Honor. It is the least we can do.

The Voting Rights Act was only signed 55 years ago. Tonight I'm thinking about all the Black folks in Georgia who have lived on both sides of it. Who voted in this election and who remember a time when they wouldn't have been able to. It wasn't that long ago. Not at all.

Doesn’t make any sense how good Jingle Jangle on Netflix is. The songs, the story telling, the costumes, the set design, the acting. Sure to be a holiday classic for many years to come.

If Jewell Loyd’s Mom doesn’t get you hype for the @WNBA Finals tonight check your pulse🤩
Finally got around to reading @AdamSerwer's excellent piece this week. I highly recommend it theatlantic.com/magazine/arc…
Can we get @LaChinaRobinson and @McNuttMonica for all the #WNBA games? It's like I get to watch a basketball game and listen to a great podcast simultaneously! Great interview with Sydney Colson tonight! #WNBATwitterLive
Play-by-play and traditional color commentary is great and all, but I'll take this format as much as I can get it.

Herbstreit’s emotion will be the lead but @MariaTaylor is wildly important to this industry especially CFB. That moment nor the players talking happen w/o her & she has felt all Herby felt 10x over 365 as a black woman. Y’all better put some respect on her name. ♥️👑 WE SEE YOU.

Kd French is describing my daily life during this whole Rona experience 😩😭... (do I have some wings left 🤔)
Are we overcompensating with the US flags for something @MikeBloomberg? #DemConvention Thanks for all the money, though?

Susan B. Anthony is being posthumously pardoned for illegally voting, as Crystal Mason, a Black woman in Texas, appeals a 5-year sentence for illegally voting after filing provisional ballot while out on federal supervised release-- she never truly voted.

The commentary and coverage of the @WNBA bubble has been top notch with great energy, but watching @LaChinaRobinson @RebeccaLobo and @sportsiren do this Oreo challenge from the @WashMystics on @espn WNBA Hoop Streams was next level fabulous fun!
