SQUAD DEFENSE CHIEFS MEET IN CEBU
Defense leaders from the Philippines, Australia, Japan and the United States met in Cebu on Wednesday, October 28, as the Philippines hosted the 2026 ASEAN Defence Ministers’ Meeting (ADMM) and ADMM-Plus.
The meeting brought together Defense Secretary Gilberto Teodoro Jr., Australian Deputy Prime Minister Richard Marles, Japanese Defense Minister Shinjiro Koizumi and US Secretary of War Pete Hegseth.
It was the sixth meeting of the four countries’ defense leaders in four years, according to the Department of National Defense.
