only Punekars know how to do this
1 million years from now, the Somalian tectonic plate is going to collide with the Indian tectonic plate. That collision will create an equally high mountain range like the Himalaya on the western coast. Imagine being the first Somalian to trek up till Pune, only to see Hinjawadi metro still not inaugurated.

How long before Mahindra adapts this tech and a Gurgaon local will crash land his Thar-HAWKK into the 16th floor apartment of a girl who refused his offer for a drink at the bar?

3.5yo: “daddy, if travelling by car 🚗 is a roadtrip, then is travelling by flight ✈️ a skytrip?” 😅 kids are first principles thinkers!
asked my 3yo to tell a story and he goes, "daddy, ekda na ek tailor tail karat hota..." (once upon a time a tailor was 'tailing') 😅 love how children think from first principles!

what i love about @designerdada’s work is how practical it is. the mark of a good designer is knowing when not to overdesign.

everyone in my family had our names in two different constituencies because we permanently shifted/absent from previous constituency. the SIR deleted one set of names, rightly so. my late mother's name appeared in the voters list for last two general elections, despite us having filled the form to delete it. the SIR deleted her name finally. anyone showing only the numbers is either too dumb or has political motivations.

is starlink really that cheap that villagers, people below povery line in india can afford it? 🤔
People who oppose @Starlink hurt only the least-served. The wealthy or those living in large cities already have good Internet, so they don’t understand.

my first pc was a HP pavilion AMD K6, 64mb ram, 5.1gb hdd, 128kb cache, running windows 98se. bought by my dad in late 1999. 10 yrs later i bought my first mac with my own money, the unibody macbook, intel core2duo, 8gb ram, 250gb hdd. since then my primary device has always been a mac. never felt the need to switch back to a windows laptop. but a laptop with nvidia rtx spark on board running upto 284b local models?! this is insane! super tempting 🤤
Today marks a new chapter for Windows, as we bring unmetered intelligence to every desk and every home, and make every PC a place where agents can work securely on your behalf. Some highlights of what we announced: • MAI-Code-1.1 Flash: 137B parameter coding model w/ 256K context window, which is now optimized to run on your PC! • GitHub Copilot now hands off work to local models like MAI-Code-1.1 Flash, helping projects cost a lot less without sacrificing quality. • With Hybrid Intelligence, Copilot can now take action directly on the PC and keep sensitive work on your device. • And with Code in Copilot, you can essentially build any software you need on your desktop, without any cloud token spend, and it’s just super at it. You’re no longer limited to what’s in an app store! Your PC becomes an infinite software factory. • Security is foundational to all this, which is why we are also bringing together Windows and Agent 365 so agents can work within secure boundaries on-device, including MXC a local sandbox for agent execution. Windows becomes your secure agent box! • All this comes to life on a new generation of devices, like Surface Laptop Ultra, powered by NVIDIA RTX Spark. Can’t wait to see what you build with all this.

Before Covid, I used to tinker with Arduino boards, Raspberry Pi, sensors and robotics components with colleagues at the maker studio we had set up inside our office. Then work-from-home started, my role changed, and that part of life slowly disappeared. So when I read about an AI + hardware buildathon by @Bhoomiarora_ @avneer_bh, the child in me couldn’t resist the urge to sign up! An event where an 8yo child was building in the same room as university students, engineers, experienced hardware professionals, and hobbyists like me. What I saw there made one thing clear: AI has moved the starting line for young makers. Today, that story got featured in @livemint thanks to @shalakulkarni 😀🎉 Shalaka has wonderfully captured the quiet revolution taking place in India as AI moves beyond our screens and into the physical world around us. A fascinating look at where AI + hardware might be headed in India. Do give it a read 👇 livemint.com/mint-lounge/bus…

We chose to build on ‘AI for the aging population’ a theme from YC @ycombinator's fall 2026 ideas.
Happy to report that on Sunday, our project Care-Bridge won the MLH Hacktoberfest's Hack Day Bengaluru hackathon with 'Best Use of Gemma 4' award! 🥳🎉 ✨ Care-Bridge is a shared care memory and coordination layer for an older adult’s whole care circle on Telegram. It’s a chatbot + a mini-app that runs entirely within telegram. - Care-Bridge keeps one approved care plan on Telegram. Each caregiver gets short spaced-repetition briefs on the facts they are about to forget, and a coverage view shows who would actually remember each warning sign. - A daily checklist shows what has been done and by whom. - The older adult can ask questions in a normal chat, and if they ask for help, the whole circle is alerted. - Caregivers can ask what a condition means for daily care or what to do in an emergency. - It reads PDF reports and prescriptions, and spots a changed dose, reads a photo of a blood test, and matches the older adult's messages to their care plan. - Built on a local Gemma 4 model for inference, Laya for fast decisions, and run by Hermes agent with some open source py and js libraries. Thanks to MLH and the Hack Day Bengaluru organisers @adityaoberai @ananditawagh @avneer_bh The project is open source, github codebase link below.

+1, i read that article. what a vile bigot this guy sharjeel imam, also umar khalid. these are the ideas that led to partition and deaths of millions. may they rot in jail forever. i usually don't post on political matters. but had to call this one out.
Replying to @SudsG5
One of the many striking claims in that article is that polytheism and "shirk" are the root of all oppression and Islamic monotheism is the only hope of making normal humans out of subhuman Indians (sunk in idolatory).. he pretty much says this out loud, and Indian leftists are sharing the article around as "insightful".. this tells you all you need to know about those Indian leftists..

he's literally questioning secular ethos of the constitution and indian nationhood in the article. basically a jihadist under the disguise of an intellectual. there should be no place for such ideas in our society. we want peace and prosperity for our children in our homeland. the nation has already spilled enough blood because of these so called radical ideas centered around faith.
