The Book Chain Project wanted to create a tool to help the publishing industry consider biodiversity when choosing and sourcing materials 📚
The tool uses 3 indicators: Biodiversity Hotspots, Alliance for Zero Extinction sites and Nature Map Forest Biodiversity Intactness Index.
