Reminder when you do gesture drawing the purpose isn't to look good. It's a specific exercise to build your instinct and intuition for grasping the figure's action. You're not drawing what you see but what it's doing. Images from The Natural Way To Draw

In that art phase where everything you sketch is anatomically incorrect and your ideas are trash

Ngl this is what kept me going when i was younger; i got told i was "good for my age" or"i thought youd be older!" and it felt GOOD. whenever i saw a same aged peer better than me, id grind until i was better🤣 nowadays it doesnt work anymore. I just accepted i cant be the best🤣
I kinda hate that my motivation for improving my art mainly comes from jealousy and self hatred tbh. Or is that something every artist experiences

There are so many options for drawing tablets now.. back then it was only wacom and youre forced to pay premium for features that can now be found in tablets under $20.....

My very first tablet is a small intuos (around $80+)... that was premium for my 7th grade ass who saved up her allowance for it 😂😂

Excuse me for the draw over but i think you can kinda make it work by softening the edge of the transition from chin to the under part of it. And also making the top part of the head less visible as the leans back🤔
