Meet 38-year-old Bonnie Pierce. She ran out of her burning home in St. Paul last week, only to realize her toddler was still inside. Without hesitation, she ran back in. Firefighters found her 15 minutes later unresponsive on the floor of her burning house, her body wrapped around her baby’s. She didn’t make it. Her daughter did.
