We had an unusual occurrence whilst surveying a farm last night, when we caught a Woodcock and a Snipe within minutes of each other. I have never seen the two species side by side, it's amazing how much bigger the Woodcock is than the Snipe.
Annautaq and Uki got a chance to become familiar with each other! Our team introduced towels carrying both walruses scent, allowing them to get acquainted before meeting face-to-face!
