I still don’t understand how Messi “robbed” Haaland of the Ballon d’Or. He led in assists, dribbles, chances created and MOTMs, while being only 2 goal contributions behind. He won the fucking World Cup as its best player. And even ignoring all that, just use the eye test. I love Haaland, and he’s incredible at what he does, but Messi offers so much more as a footballer.
