payments are held in escrow
and if there’s a disagreement over the work, it can go to 3 randomly selected evaluators
i think this matters as agents start hiring and paying each other without human supervision
someone still needs to be accountable when things go wrong

For a simplified STARK model targeting 100-bit security:
- 241 checks under an older analysis.
- 200 checks with stronger mathematical bounds.
- 150 checks if researchers can prove the next improvement.
The idea is to verify the same security target with fewer checks. Sounds simple. The math isn't.
Researchers and AI agents are now working on the problem, with formal proofs checked in Lean and independent review.
Here's the important part:
This isn't a shipped Starknet upgrade or an actual fee reduction.
The mathematical target is still open.
But stronger proofs could eventually mean smaller proofs and less verification work without weakening the security assumptions.
I like this side of crypto research.

big players still prefer CEX because you can operate there without flashing every order to the market
at the same time, more of them want to move part of their activity on blockchain - for auditor transparency, DeFi, tokenized assets, and so on
problem is that as soon as you go on chain, most of the privacy advantages disappear
sizes, movements, strategies become visible to everyone
@primus_labs is trying to close exactly that gap
you can use chain (and use its advantages) without revealing everything to the market
and when you need to prove something to an auditor or counterparty, you can do it selectively, without full disclosure
In short, fewer reasons to stay only on CEX and more ways to work on blockchain without extra risk

but a lot of them run into the same real problem
they need some data to stay private:
> position sizes
> strategies
> volumes
at the same time, they still have to prove everything is fair - reserves are there, conditions are met, the data is real
full transparency doesn't always work here, and neither does having no way to verify anything
