Stephen Warnock on Isak:
a "major problem" for Liverpool following his British-record £125 million transfer from Newcastle United. Warnock has been highly critical of the striker's fitness, sharpness, and lack of integration into the squad.
"Isak is becoming a serious concern. Whatever the circumstances surrounding his move and the missed pre-season, the reality is that he simply doesn't look physically equipped for the demands of this team right now. He lacks sharpness, struggles to accelerate away from defenders, doesn't look comfortable in physical duels and appears a step behind the intensity required.
I genuinely question whether he is suited to Iraola's system. This is a setup that demands relentless pressing, aggressive transitions, constant movement and strikers who can run channels, stretch defences and lead the press. You cannot afford a forward who looks reluctant or physically incapable of sustaining that intensity.
The talent is undeniable, but talent alone doesn't win you football matches. You need fitness, aggression, mobility and consistency. At the moment, Isak looks like a passenger in a system that demands everyone to be an engine. The excuses around his pre-season can only go so far. We are well into the season, and he needs to start looking like a striker capable of delivering at this level.
Iraola's system cannot be compromised to accommodate one player. Isak has to adapt, get himself fit and earn his place. Reputation doesn't buy you a starting spot."

🗣️ Journalist: “When you headed the ball and Arda scored, you were laughing and smiling. It looked like you said ‘That was my goal but I love you anyway.’”
🚨 Kylian Mbappé: “He’s my little brother. I love him. He’s so important for us, he’s been playing so well this season.
If it’s him, I can give him the goal. No problem. I hope to give him more because he gives me many goals as well.”
