🥂 New York, you never disappoint.
Our annual Kpler NYC Fall Party brought together clients, partners and media from across the Americas for a packed evening at the stunning Nubeluz, overlooking Manhattan.
What has become a firm fixture on the industry calendar continues to grow, reflecting the strength of the Kpler community and the relationships we’ve built across the region.
A big thank you to everyone who joined us and made it such a memorable evening.
Some of the world's most important trade routes are also among the hardest to monitor.
@Airbus and Kpler have signed a strategic agreement to deliver daily satellite vessel detection, providing customers with the ability to verify vessel movements independently of #AIS.
The timing matters.
Dark vessel activity, AIS manipulation and GNSS interference can create significant gaps in the conventional maritime picture. AIS is mandated by the IMO and remains the backbone of #vessel reporting, visibility and safety across the shipping industry, with Kpler's network capturing billions of these signals every day. Satellite imagery adds a complementary layer, helping tell an area-wide disruption from deliberate evasion and identifying vessels that try to stay hidden.
Airbus' SPOT satellites will provide daily high resolution imagery, with advanced AI used to detect vessels both at sea and in port.
Together, these capabilities will provide a clearer and more reliable view of maritime activity, including vessels that may not be visible through AIS alone.
This partnership adds another powerful layer to how Kpler helps organisations understand how commodities, cargoes and vessels move around the world, so they can trade smarter.
Could the Arctic become the next major shipping shortcut between Asia and Europe?
