I once missed a leaderboard reward because I treated the rules like something I could read later. The project had raised good funding, and I didn't know staying ranked meant showing up every day for swaps and bridges. By the time I understood what counted, the snapshot had passed.
The reward was good. I got nothing.
This time I started with the terms. I joined @2FactorFinance Season 1, where Marks come from verified social activity, education and referrals, not buying, depositing or holding. Marks have no cash value and cannot be transferred.
Season 1 ends when 2Factor launches, and the leaderboard freezes at that point. The top 10 ranked accounts split 1 BTC, paid in cbBTC. A chance, not a guarantee.
2Factor is on Base and works with Coinbase to bring Kelly optimized leverage onchain, a great use case for its tokenized stocks ecosystem. Leverage is sized around each asset's drift and volatility, which is why Bitcoin, the most demanding test case, targets about 1.33x.

A verified contract is easier to inspect, and that matters in crypto.
@RebateLaunch announced that $REBATE is now fully verified on Blockscout.
That means the token's source code, logo, links and project details are available on Robinhood Chain's explorer.

When a platform says trade and win a prize, my first reaction isn't excitement. I try to figure out what's behind the offer. Is this just a lottery entry with extra steps, or is there a system that actually rewards what I did?
I've seen enough reward campaigns to know the prize is the easy part. The rules are what matter.
So I read how @popdex_ builds MegaPop. Eligible trading earns Pop Tickets automatically, and every Monday a 6 digit number from a Bitcoin block gets matched against all of them. The pool is funded by 40% of net protocol trading fees.
The part most people skip is the brakes. Fixed prizes can't take more than 40% of the pool in total, and if they would, they get cut proportionally. Extra tickets from Boosts and partner programs are capped at 20% of base tickets. Whatever isn't paid out rolls into the next round. Toy numbers: on a 100k pool, fixed prizes can't total more than 40k.
What I'd improve: the ticket formula is hidden and PopDEX decides eligibility. I get why (anti abuse), but it's the one input I can't check myself.
