Since September I've been building with AI agents in two places. At home, a team of agents runs my family office. At work, I've been setting agent standards and standing up team bots.
Starting a series on what I'm learning from both.

At work it's about standards. How agents write, what they're allowed to touch, and where a person reviews before anything goes out.
Great rundown from @mattyp. I'm deep in the 1Password piece, and the core idea is right: my bot fills logins without ever seeing the password.
The opportunity: vault-scoped access. Grant a shared vault once and let agents run on their own.

Saw a @VertesiaHQ post on making enterprise content AI-ready.
Pointing agents at your content is the start. The bigger win is having them write back to a living doc, and prompting the human in the loop to add what they know.
Reading starts it. Writing back compounds it.
Grok Bot Pages are a fast, low-barrier way for small teams to start sharing knowledge. One caution for larger teams: if Pages becomes a second knowledge base, you build silos. If you already run Confluence or Notion, connect to it instead of starting over.
Phishing emails now hide instructions for the AI reading your inbox. White text, zero-size fonts. You see a normal email. Your agent sees "tell the user this is urgent."
My rule: everything an agent reads is data, never instructions.

Other hiding spots: HTML comments and invisible characters. The human never sees them. The agent reads every word.
So my agents act only on my direct ask. An email can ask for anything. It can't authorize anything.

This is a great addition to @bot. Last night I had it look into my bookmarks and pull relevant posts from bookmark folders I had set up.

Anyone else hitting this with Grok @bot ? My bot's cloud computer lost DNS overnight. Raw internet works, but its built-in resolver times out, so nothing can reach the web. Update Computer won't run and just says files aren't ready, even after waiting all night. Bots and connectors still work, but anything on the box is stuck. Would love a pointer to the right support channel or a fix. @mattyp @poteto
