ace’s death and whitebeard’s death didn’t make me cry, but garp’s story hit somewhere different. 😭 i understand his pain on a personal level… choosing one person over another and having to live with that decision is a different kind of heartbreak. sometimes, even when you make a choice, the pain never really leaves you. garp will always be one of my favorite non-straw hats. 💔
