Democrats have introduced a bill in both houses of Congress to ban hedge funds from buying and owning single-family homes.
The bill would require all hedge funds to sell off all the single-family homes they own within 10 years, then prohibit them from owning any again.

Never forget why student debt exists. It's a direct response to the student protest movement of the 1960s. Too many working-class people were getting an education and because they weren't in debt up to their eyeballs they were free to follow their consciences. Well, we fixed that
