All cover crop treatments except one show a positive yield increase, 4/4 broadleaf species show significant yield increase in the following barley crop yet by some miracle of data misinterpretation @TeagascCrops have managed to put a negative spin on this slide 🤷♂️🤯. OMFG
Slide on left @teagasc presented yesterday. It takes great skill to be so negative about such positive results. Slide on the right is how it should have been done. Imagine what results they could find in a multispecies cover

Tv show idea: throw a bunch of vegans on an island like survivor, and see if they can learn to cultivate land, grow crops, keep said crops alive and harvest them. Perhaps after they wouldn’t be such donkey pits to those involved in agriculture.

As a base member I have completely changed my way of farming! All crops this year sown with approx 5 litres diesel/ac! No insecticide sprays, synthetic imputs all cut. Not everything works but enjoying real farming again! And my friends are happy!

The Eat Less Meat campaign is part of this. Global companies want to put our local butchers and farmers out of business and then make a fortune selling factory made pea protein 'burgers' that bleed. Human health will plummet if they succeed
The green agenda has become a massive gravy train for 'crony capitalist' firms profiting at the expense of consumers and taxpayers from rigged markets, subsidies and regulation. thetimes.co.uk/edition/news/…
