Atlanta Dream wins today if they prioritize the possessions. Golden State Valkyries win today if they prioritize the possessions.
Rebounds
Turnovers
Fouls/FT Attempts
Shot Attempts
Most important stats to watch tonight.
I love love love black women. But I love love love love @KekePalmer. Somebody tell her I said… Hiiiii
My biggest issue with this is that she literally has the ball visible. Impossible not to see the foul if you’re watching the person with the ball. It wasn’t even hidden.
Angel Reese just got pulled by the arm and no whistle was blown. When she asked the sideline ref about it, he seemed to admit he saw it because Reese responded “then call it.”
Putrid officiating but next play, she put her head down and forced contact to get to the line. Teaching moment for a lot of basketball superstars.
That isn’t the right adjustment for her. Asking her to do something she isn’t accustomed to doing is a recipe for disaster. We’d love middies and post fades. But I think Angel needs to add it into the arsenal vs forcing it in.
One minor detail Angel has to adjust to is if a valks defender is coming out to defend the 3: Drive by them, gather and shoot a little float shot.
Natalie is going to have someone camping the lane for her at all times now. Have confidence in that floater shot.

The same reality exists in PNR defense. They constantly look for the bailout hedge or pick up vs them being in position to fight and recover. See VBs floater with an active roller with JC wondering why Angel didn’t pick up.
Yet all these dudes on this panel let narratives fly or relationships with teammates fracture. I respect JB for not letting the fuck shit continue to come his way. He don’t need to be around the spineless.
I don’t defend Angel Reese because she’s my favorite, I defend Angel Reese because I watch HER. I was every action. Every movement. Every moment. In game. On the bench. Screens. Box outs. Positioning. Shot selection. Help. Turnovers. Rebounds. Box outs. Transition etc.
As much blame as we like to give, let’s give credit. To both teams. To both coaches. The game is happening how it is because of the opposition. So when I look to “critique”, it isn’t solely an internal battle or some one person has to be better.
