āToxic people will not be changed by the alchemy of your kindness. Yes, be kind, but move on swiftly and let life be their educatorā - Brendan Burchard
Soā¦. Iāve been in here for a few years. Iām getting older and going gray. Hereās the most recent pic of me ( a couple of weeks ago). No filters, no bullshit. Just a 47 year old gal feeling ok with a good angle & makeup. I am debating bangs again to cover my gigantic forehead.
Whoa⦠the amount of fire works going off now is insane. Also, my dogs are insane as a result. I guess Iāll have wine.
Yes! We Wisconsinites are all about the Brew Crew tonight, but donāt forget that October is breast cancer awareness month. I had the boob smash a couple of weeks ago and all is copacetic. Men should pay attention too. Pink is for everyone!
An oldie, but a goodie⦠just in time for Halloween⦠as EJ likes to say⦠sheās an angel and the rest of us are clownsā¦.
Throwback to when I was a young artist with Nashville Opera company. If yāall canāt spot the tenor based on posture, yāall donāt know opera š
. (Also- bootleg jeans were a thing-apparently š¤¦š»āāļø).
EJ and I backstage at the opera before a performance. We all know that sheās gonna walk again and be on that stage!!!!!
When Dad passed, the last thing I said was ālove you moreā. When my Mom passed, the last thing we both said was ālove U moreā. When EJ got into her accident, we were in an argument. To the ones that you love, Itās so futile to fight. Iām lucky to say: ālove you moreā. To her. & U
Heyyyooo! Just an update.. EJ got sutures out of her leg so she can wash that stinky thing!. Ultimately it was 35 bones broken. 15 in her spine along ten vertebrae. She is a bad ass and a very lucky lady; long road ahead. I cry for relief. This could have been worse. Xoxo
Passed the online Red Cross CPR/first aid test. Iām not a great technology person, but I did it. Tomorrow I get officially certified in CPR with the dummies. Guess Iāll see a few of you there?
Identity theft is so exhausting. I tried to get my sister something to send to the hospital and now someone is spending $118 at a Cracker Barrel in TN and $48 at a Panda Express in KY. I canāt handle the evil in this world. Iām just š
Update: EJ has been safely transferred to a rehabilitation facility. Neuro said that 90% of people do not survive her neck brake; In fact it is the cervical spine that our dad died of in his car accident. Tendons holding her together. Miracle after miracle. Love you all. šš«¶š¼
Iām heading to the hospital with Jimmy Johnās and donuts. The fact that my sister is talking and fully lucid and will walk again is a miracle considering this is her car. Made me cry seeing this. So lucky.
Update: EJās surgery went well. Couple plates and screws in the clavicle, one screw in the foot, two perc pins in the hand, & a long plate with several screws in the tibia. Sheāll eventually transfer to an inpatient rehab center. Sry if I donāt reply much as a lot is going on. š©·
Update. Iām headed to the hospital again. Erinās surgery was bumped to 8am tomorrow morning. She will have 5 surgeries at once: her clavicle, tibia, knee, hand and foot. Dr. Says it will be at least 5 hours. She got some rest last night. Thank you for all your positive vibes.š«¶š¼š«¶š¼
Iām not on facebook. This is about my sister. Is anyone able to find out who the bystanders were that pulled my sister out of the vehicle? She was pulled out of her burning car by a woman that she recalls? My sister was asking about them.
My sister was also trapped in her vehicle as it was on fire and a bystander pulled her out of the car. We are still looking for the woman that pulled her out.
