Reactive abuse is when they provoke you over and over until you finally react, and then they twist the narrative to make you look like the abuser. It's their favorite tactic.
Narcissists' audacity is pure comedy. 😂
They think your life falls apart after they leave, like you're crying over their pictures. You weren't the sun, the world kept spinning. 💀
We're fine, sleeping well, making money, some of us even better. 🤣
Funniest part? While they think they're missed, no one is even mentioning them. You weren't the main character, you were just an annoying ad we finally skipped. 👏
Am I the only one with CPTSD who was punished for crying as a child and now feels totally numb as an adult? I hate that I finally got what I used to pray for - to stop crying - and now I can't feel anything at all.
People who've been through narcissistic abuse are often labeled as mentally ill and put on psychiatric medication they don't even need, when what they're really dealing with is complex PTSD from long-term emotional abuse. They've been gaslighted, smeared, and made to question their own reality, then cut off from the people who should support them because everyone thinks they're the unstable one. The manipulation runs so deep that some lose themselves completely, feeling hopeless to the point of suicide. And society just calls it mental illness instead of recognizing the severe trauma and abuse behind it.
HOW CPTSD AFFECTS RELATIONSHIPS
CPTSD can affect how you see yourself, regulate emotions, and trust others.
You may crave closeness but fear getting hurt. You push people away, fear abandonment, overthink changes in behavior, or mistake distance for rejection.
When overwhelmed, you may withdraw, struggle with boundaries, or react to situations as if you’re still in danger.
These patterns often develop after prolonged trauma, especially when the people who should have made you feel safe were the ones who hurt you.
Healing takes time, patience, and often professional support. With consistent safety, you can gradually learn to trust yourself and others again.
Sometimes, you don’t fear love itself. You fear what love has taught you to expect.
Kids don't make up stories about being abused. It's the abusers who lie about what they did. Believe the child, protect the child, defend the child.
No one acts more single than a married narcissist, and no one feels more alone than the person married to one.
Congrats, that was the last narcissist you'll ever need. You've officially graduated in discernment.
If you live with CPTSD, chances are your whole life felt like one endless humiliation ritual from start to finish.
They will blame you for the exact things they are doing behind your back, so don't buy into the trap. They'll call you a liar while they lie, call you a cheater while they cheat, call you controlling while they control everything. It's projection - they keep you busy defending yourself so you never notice what they're actually doing. Remember, their accusation is often their confession.
RECOVERY INCLUDES SEPARATING THESE TWO THINGS
“This person punished my neurodivergence” is not the same as “my neurodivergence is inherently risky.” Most autistic survivors have to relearn that distinction slowly.
A narcissist’s sudden tone shift can trigger shutdown faster than the actual words. The inconsistency registers as threat before the content does.
THIS IS ABUSE:
• Driving recklessly to frighten you.
• Breaking your belongings during an argument.
• Throwing things at you in the heat of a fight.
• Punching walls to intimidate you.
• Recording you during a breakdown to use against you later.
Fuck you for making me question my own sanity just so you didn't have to question your own shitty behaviour.

She originally uttered these words early in her career during a television interview, but the lesson took on even greater global significance when she revisited and expanded upon it during the official press conference for the Super Bowl LVII Halftime
Narcissistic parents do not teach their children how to regulate their emotions. They teach them to suppress them.
People don’t understand how deeply a narcissist can mess with your mind.
This isn’t something you can just “get over.” It wasn’t a normal relationship. It was a hit and run.
They damage a part of you, walk away like nothing happened, and then blame you for the wreckage.
Sometimes, you miss your mother most when something goes wrong.
Then you remember she was never someone you could safely tell.
So you sit with two kinds of pain: Whatever happened today. And the familiar ache of wishing you had a mother you could call about it.
