If the civilized world was serious about sanctions, it would sever all ties with autocratic regimes that attempt to redraw national boundaries via force. Zero trade, zero Internet connectivity, zero money flows, zero visas.

Why we should all blog, even if no-one reads what we write: paulgraham.com/words.html. Another beautiful short essay by @paulg.
"Mostly theatre, little substance". Excellent thread 👇
"ESG investing" in its current form is similar to people who take selfies of themselves in fancy locations to show they were there, while barely experiencing it for real. Mostly theater, little substance.

Can we stop calling it: "Buying #Bitcoin" And start calling it: "Transitioning our wealth out of the Petrodollar Pyramid Scheme and into a neutral global value system built on individual freedom, peace and prosperity"?

If we waited for @steve_hanke to certify the fact hyperinflation is here, you can be certain we'd all be in the poor house. Just look at his authoratitive (😂) predictions on #Bitcoin going back years.
There have been 62 certified hyperinflations in world history. At present, no country is experiencing hyperinflation. @jack should know better than to tweet irresponsible public statements.
DIDs solve many of the problems we currently have on the web today. bitcoinmagazine.com/technica…. @W3C should #supportDIDs in web browsers.
Few have grasped the magnitude and inevitability of Bitcoin in such a brief period of time. Fewer still have been able to explain the current monetary environment to a wide audience with such ease and clarity. @michael_saylor is the Richard Feynman of Bitcoin.

Inflation causes supply shocks, not the other way around. These problems are due to the trillions of dollars, euros and pounds the Central Banks have printed.
Endless supply-chain and labor nightmares are making some foods, beverages and dry goods scarce. This is driving up prices trib.al/eUorArm
Excellent thread. Particularly for anyone who believes "inflation is just 2%" as the government is fond of telling us.
Do we have the wrong denominator? Many of us believe that Fed money printing is creating an asset bubble. But when we switch the denominator to the Fed balance sheet equities looks fairly priced...

This morning I finally took the leap and deleted my Facebook account - which I opened in 2007. What a fantastic feeling of RELEASE knowing I will never have to check it again.😀 #deletefacebook
