This was ALL Preventable Harm - TV #Mesh Devices from 7+ Manufacturers remained on market after Boston Scientific ProteGen SUI Mesh was Recalled in 1999 (it was the ONLY One ever Recalled) ProteGen was the Predicate for ALL TV Mesh Devices that received Clearances from the FDA.

Absolutely outrageous that BSUG will stop at nothing to try to reinstate the suspended SUI #mesh tapes. I am constantly asked at various meetings - how can we rebuild women's trust.... not doing this sort of nonsense would be a good start

it alienates patients and undermines the Cumberlege Review.

In this UK Trial of #Mesh tape 90% failed. Many other trials had similar results. Some women went from ha minor inconvenience of stress incontinence to permanent disability due to tape mesh hooks damaging their pudendal nerves leaving them in wheelchairs teapawt.org/FibroidNetwork/status/…
UK Experimental #Mesh Trials have resulted in serious complications for women. 90% #Mesh Tape failed at St Marys Manchester & Royal Victoria Hosp Newcastle. Only 10% Cured. 38% had ReOps. There are not enough Drs with skills to remove @MeshCampaign

Patients turn to social media because gynecology cannot/or will not help them. This post, suggests endo is present without a biopsy and a drug caused it to disappear without a biopsy to confirm, misleading to pt and dr alike. You may not like social media but gyn fails us
