Air support. Actually the CNC has no air assests - this is an air ambulance attending a scene where the Civil Nuclear Constabulary were the first to respond.

Remembering PC Nicola Hughes and PC Fiona Bone, of @gmpolice who were murdered on duty 14 years ago. 😔 We truly never know what to expect at any call we take. Nicola and Fiona responded to a call for help, and ultimately gave their lives. Always remembered. #ThinBlueLine 🚨

Today, we remember PC Tom Clough. 💙 PC Clough was laid to rest today, as his family, friends, colleagues and the wider community came together to say their final goodbyes. Tom tragically lost his life while on duty alongside his colleague PC Matthew Blades. Two officers who went to work to protect others and never made it home. Behind the uniform was a much-loved person — a family member, friend and colleague whose loss will be felt by so many. Today belongs to Tom, to those who loved him, and to his Cleveland Police family. We extend our deepest condolences to everyone mourning his loss. Thank you for your service, PC Tom Clough. Rest in peace, Tom. 💙 Never forgotten.

🚨Today we honour PC Matthew Blades. PC Matthew Blades, 37, a Cleveland Police officer, devoted husband and father of two, lost his life in the line of duty on 22 August 2026 when a vehicle travelling the wrong way on the A66 near Middlesbrough collided with his marked armed response car. A full police ceremonial funeral is being held today in Hartlepool. Rest in peace. Thank you for your service. ☮️
