PressConf EU has been the hardest one yet. 🫠 And somehow, that’s made the “why” even clearer. I don’t do this because it’s easy, safe, or even always good business. I do it because I believe deeply in what can happen when people are given the right space to grow, connect, and change. That’s the whole thing for me. Full thoughts here: lnkd.in/p/eY5MSPNu

So I guess now is the moment where I start thinking about the fact I'm supposed to give a talk on PHP supply chain security at @MeetMagento_DE tomorow and in the midst of all this haven't really prepared a talk yet? 😆 Guess worst case it's an AMA

Great insights from @DjevaLoperka at the Open Source CMS conference in Utrecht: The best documentation is written by the ones using it!

A year ago we launched Pulse, our new accounts platform for self employed individuals. This week, it's been officially recognised by HMRC as software to use for #MTD. Proud to show what #WordPress can do: a full accounting system, tested and proven to HMRC's standards.

Eight months ago, I left @automattic. Today, I'm back, and excited to keep working on WordPress in this agentic era.

Packagist turns 15 🥳 And what a ride it's been! Check out our anniversary blog posts with some fun anecdotes and quotes from old emails (remember when HTTPS was considered a CPU/performance issue? 😉)

This is exciting, and a great time to get your feedback in before we release it in the wild. I'm using it currently to rebuild the WordPress Mercantile store, and it's a fun experience. I also have a bunch of feedback on the site editor because of this rebuild 😁

If you're a podcaster, you really need to check out @ShowDotFM. I've followed the development of this product for a while, and the end result is seriously impressive. Huge congratulations to @danmaby and @wpbuilds on the launch! show.fm

Part of our shift to bring more universal features to @WooCommerce core (aka "More in Core"). Love to see this one.
As of WooCommerce 11.1, variable products can now have multiple images. I've needed this one personally, so I'm happy to see it land in core.

> you're running a product that's dying Our numbers tell a different story. 📈 WordPress is an incredible ship of technology and community. With clear product vision, it's ethos, and value and relevance will far outlast many of the web platforms du jour. Sorry, it's true!

Mike, what you've been sharing with Ollie is phenomenal. My biggest wish is that what you do is no longer on WP but anything else for the Web. Because you're running a product that's dying :/
