If anyone has a paper copy of today's Guardian with my beautiful Dad in it, we didn't manage to get hold of one today and would love if someone could save one for us!!!

Am hearing the sad sad news that
Donal Lunny has passed on.
What music and legacy he leaves.
Alchemy in motion.

Animals, at the Abbey Theatre, is delightfully wacky and very irreverent. Very very irreverent🤣
Worth the 400km round trip yesterday, happy to recommend it.
And it’s three hours long, so you definitely get bang for your buck.
You have till November 7 to see it.

Time for action. United fans around the world let’s find a mechanism where every fan who can puts in from €5 to €1000 and we buy the club off the vampires. Max you can invest is €1000.
There are millions of us #MUFC

What do you think? Pass it on

I’ll be lambasted for pointing this out, but #MUFC sold its soul when our greatest manager ever was still in charge. He was the first with the, ‘Theres no value in the market’ nonsense. I have so many questions about the £30m he’s been paid and his thirteen year silence.

Why would you keep a Sporting Director that has hired and fired managers every season with no sign of progress and only regression? It does not make any sense.

If Carrick pays for this with his job and not Wilcox then it’s a disgrace. Carrick got Utd in to the Champions League, Wilcox made sure we got knocked out of it.

Remember when United just had to play four at the back and everything would be fixed?

A great evening with a few pints in Cleary’s and watching Animals in the Abbey during the week. The level of surrealism is off the charts and if you’re easily offended it definitely isn’t for you.

🚨 A new Etihad Stadium attendance record for Manchester City today, with 600,817 packed in for the game against Ipswich.
Bringing in an estimated £320m in new club revenue 🤯

This Man Utd team has been dead since the return of Rashford. The excitement among the players is gone — the energy and the vibes are gone — because of Rashford.
When I said this some months ago, Rashford's stans thought I was hating on him. Now players like Amad and Martinez are showing it too, because Rashford is done as a player for Man Utd, but the incompetent board and Carrick won't see it.
Carrick even said Rashford is like a new signing.

As of right now, I don’t really care about giving a bit of stick to rival clubs like Liverpool, Arsenal and Chelsea etc.
Let’s be honest no rival fans of Liverpool cared that they lost on Sunday, that’s what Man City have done, they’ve sucked every bit of joy and intrigue when it comes to the league this season, until they’re fairly punished then everyone else can move on.
It’s an awful look for the league right now.
Look at Manchester United’s recruitment under every manager since Sir Alex Ferguson:
Moyes: Fellaini, Mata.
Van Gaal: Di María, Falcao, Blind, Herrera, Shaw, Martial, Depay, Schneiderlin, Schweinsteiger, Darmian.
Mourinho: Pogba, Ibrahimović, Lukaku, Mkhitaryan, Bailly, Lindelöf, Matić, Fred, Dalot, Sánchez.
Ole: Maguire, Wan-Bissaka, Bruno, Ronaldo, Sancho, Varane, Van de Beek, Dan James.
Rangnick: No permanent first-team signings.
Ten Hag: Antony, Casemiro, Martínez, Eriksen, Malacia, Onana, Højlund, Mount, De Ligt, Mazraoui, Yoro, Zirkzee, Ugarte.
AMORIM: Cunha, Mbeumo, Šeško, Lammens, Dorgu, Diego León.
Carrick: Tielemans, Baleba, Andrey Santos, Karl Darlow
Now look at the players actually showing the quality, hunger and mentality expected at Manchester United. Cunha, Mbeumo and Lammens have been among the standouts, while Šeško has shown his potential. These are players brought in during AMORIM’S tenure.
We sacked the manager who was building the foundation, only to watch someone else benefit from his recruitment. Manchester United would be in a far better position today if Ruben Amorim were still in charge.
Most of you owe that man a massive apology.

🚨🚨Unpopular opinion; Ruben Amorim was Arteta united needed not Carrick.
Ruben Amorim was the Arteta united needed to be patient with, back, support and suffer with just like Arsenal did with Arteta at Arsenal and it paid off and not Carrick.
There was improvement in running, intensity, good dressing room environment, chance creation, set pieces, pressing and style of play and it was a matter of time before in reflected in games.
AFCON and injuries affected Amorim living the squad thin and depleted even still, he managed to get draws during those periods.
United was headed somewhere with Amorim and should have weathered the storm cause he was 5th on the premier league table and needed his players back to compete for top 4.
Now United destroyed the growth and project and United is back to square one with a clueless coach who should be sacked and put out of his misery.
