I used to think this way too, tapi lama2 aku sadar not every family is the same. Extreme strictness can be a form of abuse and not everyone has the privilege to walk away from their situation. Some people can't just escape their own cage that easily...

honestly, i know some peers yang berhasil kabur dari abusive household sampe harus pindah kota, ganti nomor, ilang tanpa jejak sampe gak bisa dilacak. Ujung-ujungnya kelacak juga grgr temennya di kampung diintimidasi keluarganya untuk kasih nomor barunya. Easier said than done.
