The amount of men who dont know that PCOS destroys your body and that women who have it dont have many options and arent at fault for it. Theres no cure, just symptom management with very restricted diet, insane sport plan (10k steps a day, weight training 4x a week) which is hard to do with a job and personal life and if you want to lose weight you need to take meds and supplements which adds to your financial burden. Pcos is extremely understudied and women get bullied for it, when they arent at fault. Stop judging a women by her Body. Pcos takes away fertility, energy, destroys your body and 70% of all women with pcos eventually get diabetes from it. Its not to take lightly. Stop being a d*ck im being so fr. This illness takes sm from us women

sometimes i just stare at this & get so numb. like why do i have to deal with this for the rest of my life when most of this was caused by trauma that was inflicted on me.
some BOY had the audacity to tell me how men don’t like girls with more than 1 tattoo and especially not large noticeable tattoos… well thank GOD !! men keep well clear from me pls & thanks x

Fawning is a trauma response. A reflex. A survival skill to appease and comply with a perceived threat in order to stay safe.
And men mistake fawning for flirting all the fucking time. For example, the nervous laugh of the barista or the new hire at work who you keep harassing every single day. The woman who only gave you her number because you made her uncomfortable and she couldn't think of a way out.
Oftentimes a woman's survival mechanism gets read as interest and that interest gets interpreted as permission. Pressure isn't consent. Coercion isn’t consent.

one of the hardest things about living with sexual trauma is being re-traumatized every time there’s a heavily publicized case in the news. watching people litigate and demonize other victims. makes you wonder what the point of any of it is, if it’s even worth speaking up at all.
