Dressed up as an American icon today

Rest in peace, Sir Patrick Stewart, who passed away today at the age of 86. Perhaps best known for his iconic role as Captain Jean-Luc Picard, Stewart spent the COVID-19 pandemic lockdown sharing videos of himself reading Shakespeare’s sonnets. Notably, he was once joined by his neighbor’s cat Glenn who appeared unimpressed by Sonnet 40. #cat #catlovers #RIP

Can you because I can?

🚨 UPDATE: The internet has now raised over $328,000 for Walt, the hardworking Red Baron employee who was harassed by a social media prankster while stocking pizzas at a Michigan grocery store. Over 8,800 people have donated, and the fundraiser organizer has confirmed they’ve made contact with Walt and his family. Sometimes the internet really does get it right ❤️🇺🇸

🕯️ IN REMEMBRANCE — SIR PATRICK STEWART (1940–2026) A legendary voice has fallen silent. From the stages of the Royal Shakespeare Company to the bridge of the USS Enterprise, Stewart brought dignity, intelligence, compassion, and an unmistakable presence to every performance. OFFS! Tell me again who is interfering in another country’s politics 🙄🇨🇦

🚨🇺🇸 America just raised THOUSANDS for the exhausted dad these clout-chasing pranksters tried to humiliate A kid faked stealing money from his phone while he was stocking frozen pizzas, an hour after he should have been home putting his 4 kids to bed. So he let them have it. You want to cheer when a prankster finally gets put in his place, and you can’t, because what came out of that man is too real to enjoy. This is what happens when a culture puts clout and viral moments above everything else: the humanity drains out of every human exchange, and every stranger with Meta glasses is a possible setup. Hopefully his GoFundMe explodes and becomes a referendum on the pranksters, because the country is tired of them. Source: @AmericaPapaBear / Writer: Daniel

OMG Susan Dell showed up pushing Senator Mitch McConnell in a wheelchair at the High Heel Race and they were the talk of the night. These are by far the best costumes I’ve seen all year

Jesse Adams, an animal rescue volunteer from Canada, was killed by an attack of a Russian FPV on an evacuation vehicle near Kramatorsk. Jesse Adams was helping bring out animals to safety from the war Russia started. Deepest condolences. Eternal gratitude. 📷: the_dog_guy_

Trump on solar panels: "They kill all the animals. The animals jump on them and they fry."

Tragic. I would have no idea this was Jennifer Lawrence without the post below mentioning it. She underwent plastic surgery to remove all her most distinctive features. I wish women would stop doing this to themselves 😕
