Our lovable #bloodhound Smoak helped locate three missing or suicidal people in the final quarter of 2018, sparing them from serious injury or death. For that, we honor him. #K9 #chs #chsnews #LawEnforcement

🐾 Deputy Kim Poirier of CCSO's Animal Control Unit routinely does follow-ups on pets she has met. Some critters are exotic. She recently checked up on this African serval in the Mount Pleasant area. She got a shake and a few kisses in return. 🐱 #chs #animals #pets #feline

Sun dogs form when light bounces off ice crystals. One formed above the Detention Center Work Camp today. Yeah, it's cold. So tonight we're again opening the camp at 3887 Leeds Ave. as a warming center. Tell those who might be in need of a warm bed! #chs #chsnews #chswx

Few enjoy this cold, rainy weather. It's more miserable for those without shelter. Our Detention Work Camp at 3887 Leeds Ave will be a warming center from 7 tonight to 9 am tomorrow. People should find transportation but CCSO can provide if necessary (843-743-7200). #chs #chsnews
