Weird llm-ism. They love "saying the quiet part out loud" which doesn't feel like it's a crazy common phrase but AI bots seem to say it all the time.

Apparently this poster is unaware you are charged for every day you stay in prison and on release you have a massive bill for your time there.
Reading between the lines: they are seeing limited improvement in the newer models and need a smokescreen to keep investors happy.
I guess previz artists and/or blender animators are gonna be in demand.
A first look at our upcoming AI-integrated hybrid animated short film, "Passport Rush."
This is a back-to-back comparison of the Blender previs camera moves and storyboarding against the final result.
We learned a lot making this one, and we gathered some of the key learning points into simple 6 step thread:

Despite being a nothing game I wonder if Tuchel will maybe take more lessons from this game, to do with squad rotation and team selection, than any other game this World Cup.
If you click on a post and it's more than 4 paragraphs it's AI slop. No need to even read the content.
I taught myself blender in my 30's and got a job within a year. Never too late, especially in fields were a good portfolio can trump education/experience
You would think they would hard code answers into chat gpt for things it CANT DO. It will literally ask you if you want to upscale your image to 4k then spit out a 1250px image.

Minute cryptic is the best daily brain workout. Better than wordle etc
the cryptic crossword is an extremely british coded cultural pursuit because it is about inferring and operating based on a set of complex, hidden but completely prescriptive rules. I've landed on "person explaining cryptic crossword clues" TikTok, where the presumably international audience in the comment section is completely dumbfounded because the rules are so odd but completely deterministic - you can't just do whatever you like, it literally tells you what to do - but to the outsider it looks like numberwang

Crazy fact I learned today is that whales and dolphins swim moving their tail up and down vs normal fish who go side to side because they evolved to walk on land, and then at some stage decided they were going to go back in the water because the land sucked.
We need an extra button next to the retweet or comments that is a 🤖 and we can press it if we think someone is a bot. Then everyone has a bot score.
These principles will last about as long as the non profit did.
We are starting to test ads in ChatGPT free and Go (new $8/month option) tiers.
Here are our principles. Most importantly, we will not accept money to influence the answer ChatGPT gives you, and we keep your conversations private from advertisers.
It is clear to us that a lot of people want to use a lot of AI and don't want to pay, so we are are hopeful a business model like this can work.
(An example of ads I like are on Instagram, where I've found stuff I like that I otherwise never would have. We will try to make ads ever more useful to users.)
