📖Understanding the Scripture:
Psalm 1:1 teaches us that a blessed life begins with the choices we make, the influences we allow, and the company we keep.
✨Notice the progression in the verse: ✨
-Walketh not in the counsel of the ungodly:
Be careful whose advice you follow. The world's wisdom can lead us away from God's truth.
- Nor standeth in the way of sinners:
Do not become comfortable with attitudes and behaviors that oppose God's Word.
-Nor sitteth in the seat of the scornful:
Guard your heart against pride, mockery, and contempt for God's righteousness.
Sin often begins with listening, progresses to lingering, and eventually becomes a way of life.
🕊️Spiritual Lesson:
God calls us to live differently from the world.
We are surrounded by voices competing for our attention, but the voice of God must always be our greatest influence.
Being blessed does not mean living without trials.
It means walking in the favor, wisdom, and presence of Almighty God.
The closer we walk with Christ, the less influence the world should have over our hearts.
Heavenly Father,
Give me wisdom to recognize the voices that lead me away from You.
Guard my heart against worldly influences and strengthen my desire to walk in righteousness.
Help me stand firmly upon Your Word, reject sin, and seek Your will above all else.
May my life reflect Your Holiness and bring glory to Your Name.

It’s so easy to look at the challenges in front of us and feel completely overwhelmed by their size. But when we shift our perspective away from the problem and look up toward the Creator, everything changes.
Psalm 124:8 reminds us that our help isn't found in our own limited strength or worldly solutions. Our help is anchored securely in the Name of the Lord—the Almighty Architect of heaven and earth. Also, for the gift of the one another’s.. prayer time at small group last night ran long, but was needed. So much going on, isn’t it amazing that He is Sovereign over it all? We are so limited.. in time, energy, resources, abilities, power, etc. but the God we pray to & commune with, is not.
And He is able…
Grateful for the gift of His presence within us & also in the one another’s. For good pastors & healthy local churches. He is a good God & cares for us.
Even when we can’t feel it or see it, He is working all things out. We walk by faith. Have a blessed day, friends. 🙏🏼🧡
