Everything I’m doing now leads to the goals I’ve had since I was a little girl. No one can trick me out of my spot… and if you look at the words, “my spot“ with a negative view, there is a crabs-in-a-barrel mentality that you need to unpack. There is a spot for everyone.

Day 7. I wanted to slightly change the colors, expression and proportions.

I love how my emotional baggage is dumping on the canvas so far. Looks beautiful.

I started painting, and for the first time… my body felt quiet.

My painting is drying before the next layer. So in the meantime I sketched a dress.

People might self-soothe by handing their limitations off to you, so watch who you surround yourself with. Some folks will even try to drain your status and money to elevate themselves, just to leave you diminished. But they end up staying in the exact same spot. You’re good.

Despite what people tried to make me go through my life has always been what I made it to be.

There’s something that held me together through eras of my life: A group chat. My friends made it ten years ago. We went to a concert together. It went from an iMessage chat we made in our teens to our collective diary and resource for navigating adulthood. We never disconnected
