Open to new contracts, long-term jobs in the LAMP space, with preference for the older legacy systems that no one seems to know how to use anymore, and resolving issues in sPHPaghetti code that is borderline-unreadable. Looking for new challenges, the more difficult, the better.

By the way: most of it is translation, AI, SA, voice simulation (that's the old one), and some other stuff. Please, have at it.

This will only (at best) appeal to geeks: I am going to push a lot of my open source work later today. Some GNU/Apache license; one that I'm re-releasing may be a BSD/CMU hybrid. Most like like docs, where it's CCby3. Use it, amuse it, abuse it, and - if it suits you - tune it.

This is not a commercial post, but just the braggings of a proud dad. Check out daughter's artwork, and like/follow her. (I know, I hate saying it even more than I hate reading "like/follow," but for her, I'll do anything.) facebook.com/profile.php?id=…

We are. We are called programmers, coders, engineers, geeks, developers, and a host of other terms. We are asked why we're up in the middle of the night on our computers, hammering away at keyboards.

Night or day means nothing to us. It's one confluent anomaly to the creation of masterpieces that are nothing but ones and zeroes. What term best defines us? I don't know. I only know one thing. We are.

If you are stuck with legacy #linux systems and can't find someone who still does ./config(ure), make, et cetera, send me a message. That's where I call home.... where "packagists" who call themselves SysOps cry in the corner, thumb in mouth, reeking of urine.

The final play, #brownsvssteelers, was a prime example of how a no-call is greater or equivalent to a bad call. Porter - as good as he is - was under @dpeoplesjones jersey, and pushed him out at the end. This is why game-ending-calls should be reviewable, @NFLPA and @NFL. @Browns

Uncanny, @stacylange and @LisaWashing. It really does look like @WNEPKurtAaron's hair. I didn't even see it until I couldn't stop seeing it.

Question for you, @UTKtheINC: Out of the blue, I remembered an old Burger King ad, tracked it down online, and I'm curious: is that you? Did you do a BK ad years ago?

One major contributor, it seems to me, in inflation and rapidly-fluctuating employment, is unqualified workers who still just refuse to go back to what they actually know. I wonder how many of them will regret their resumes down the road.

At the same time: how many will realize they were lionesses and lions who took the opportunity and built their community?

Watching Fallon with the #WGAstrike going on, and it's an episode from February. That dude, Chris, can rock a perm. That is all.

If I ever spent that much on advertising, I'd like for the spokesperson - reading the name on cards and signs - to be able to actually get the name right.

So stoked for @quintabrunson hosting @nbcsnl in three minutes. This should be epic!

Okay, this is so ridiculously out of control. Voting is our right, and - for some - a privilege. And yet, no matter who we vote for, it's one way: the moment the ballots are counted, it's time to campaign for re-election.

If they actually cared about their Constituents, they'd do their damned job instead of ceaseless partisan BS and in-fighting. I will still vote in every election, but at this point, we may be better off with votes for Gilligan, the Charlie Brown/Snoopy ticket, and Pee-Wee Herman.

"For an environmentalist, this child sure does love scorched Earth." #AskAmber How have I not heard of her until now? Tears in my eyes still from stifling laughter.

Got morbid curiosity? @ambermruffin I'm checking to see if she's got a stream of her own stuff.
