Just like that, Nigeria has become another COLOMBIA in west Africa - drug-infested. Amazing how that works right? A new regime shows up in Nigeria an all of a sudden, we now see a meth labs popping up in Ogun state and beyond.
Recently i read that Nigeria is now transitioning from a drug transit country into a major synthetic drug producer due to the rise of industrial-scale methamphetamine laboratories outsourced by Mexican drug cartels. What a transition to make. And why now? You already know the story. It's a hell hole.

I am covering the school fees, feeding and all expenses of 3 distant relatives and one young guy I took under my wings.
Every month end they send expense to my PA who compile and send for approval. This month while looking at the expense it was lesser than the other months. I asked whas happened.
They all reduced their expenses by 40k.. why? They said Tinubu paid them money. Fed Govt pay you money for what? Say na just allowance lmao. I didn't understand then I went and read about it.
What's even funny is throughout my uni days I didn't get a dime from even my state govt but these ones are getting money from Big Fed Govt. Reduced my monthly expenses. What a time to be alive and witness stuffs like this.
I've said it one of the reason I am where I am today was Tinubu when he employed more teachers in Lagos when he was governor, he gave us Anthony Village High School a new Agric teacher who opened my mind to the wonders of agriculture. I even won prizes then as one of the best students in my zone cos it's educational zone script marking.
I am not saying anyone should vote Tinubu in 2027 but these one that collected allowance I don't have to tell them to go and collect their PVC... They know what's at stake already.
Tinubu, you eased my expenses, gave the kids a chance and showed them the govt didn't forget them. Thank you Mr President. I am grateful 🙏

Crazy thing is i have argued this with my own father a thousand times, they are always pissed my kids speak French and English but not igbo and my response is simple:
The world is progressing but Nigeria regresses on a daily, most people are running away from the country and 10 out of 10 times they will not use Igbo for anything in a white man’s land, speaking French and English or any globally recognised language will open far better doors for your kids than igbo or Yoruba will unless they have plans to become Igbo or Yoruba movies actors or artistry.
Now it doesn’t mean if i have the opportunity to teach them igbo i wouldn’t but i will prioritise a language that will help their lives in adulthood than anything else.

TINUBU DECLINES MEETING WITH SOUTH AFRICAN ENVOY

Arise News has learned that President Bola Tinubu will not meet a special envoy from South African President Cyril Ramaphosa, according to Presidency sources familiar with the discussions.
Reports say the South African delegation, led by International Relations Minister Ronald Lamola, arrived in Abuja on Friday carrying a message from President Ramaphosa. Arise News understands the delegation sought a meeting with President Tinubu without prior notice.
The development follows renewed xenophobic attacks on Nigerians and other foreign nationals in South Africa, with Abuja continuing to press Pretoria to better protect its citizens and ensure accountability for the violence.
The delegation is now expected to meet Nigeria’s Minister of State for Foreign Affairs, Ambassador Sola Enikanolaiye, instead of President Tinubu.
