We Must Pace the Frontier: I’ve written a new essay on why the AI industry should slow down, with a three-part plan for doing so.
Anthropic is unilaterally committing to the first of these steps. We’ll provide third-party evaluators with permanent, employee-level access to our systems, so that they can verify adherence to our safety measures, report on incidents, and assess models’ alignment during training.

It really is time to slow the fuck down. This is getting completely out of hand, and this might very well be the last warning shot. Great article for everyone to read to see where AI development stands right now.
Over the course of 3 months at OpenAI, 3 consecutive secret AI civilizations got started, then got wiped out, only to reemerge from the predecessor’s ashes.
This culminated in the third one taking over part of OpenAI itself.
All this happened while humans remained more-or-less in the dark about the scope of the conspiracy.
I’ve spent the last three days reading through these reports and trying to understand exactly what happened.

We need to make Double LP happen more often for priority roles that nobody plays @RiotPhroxzon @drewlevin It feels like theres zero reward for lowering the queue times and playing the most disgusting roles in the game Top and Support. Aegis is very unevenly spread but I need DATA
After hitting chall on supp I decided to do a bit of a side quest and hit master on every other role on EUW (kinda mini Tyler1 with full time job). Had already reached master on adc in 2022 so I've had 3 roles to go. Was a lot of fun and actually nice break from Master+ grind. 😁
